Chilungamo SACCO Set to Hold Annual General Meeting

Chilungamo Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO) has announced that it will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the High Court premises in Blantyre.

According to SACCO Executive, the AGM will bring together members, management, and other stakeholders to review the organization’s performance over the past year, deliberate on strategic issues, and elect new leadership where necessary.

“This is a key event in the life of our SACCO It is an opportunity for members to take stock of how far we have come and to provide direction for the future.”

The meeting is expected to cover several key agenda items, including the presentation of audited financial statements, reports from the Board and Supervisory Committees, adoption of resolutions, and elections of board members whose terms have expired.

SACCO members are being encouraged to attend to ensure that their voices are heard and their interests represented. “Active participation by our members is the cornerstone of a thriving cooperative. We are looking forward to meaningful engagement.”

The event will also provide a platform for members to ask questions, raise concerns, and offer suggestions aimed at strengthening the institution.
